Cost & Time Savings

Having to rent scaffolding and lift equipment is very costly. In addition to being costly, utilizing this bulky equipment to perform an inspection is not a quick task. Deploying the equipment on site and waiting for the inspectors to climb up to the area of interest is time consuming. In comparison, drones can be deployed in short order and can fly up to the area of interest within seconds.

In many cases, it can be difficult for human inspectors to reach certain areas. Drones can make accessing these areas much simpler.

Inspections are inherently dangerous due to the hazardous environments workers can be exposed to. Most structures being inspected such as buildings, industrial stacks, wind turbines, etc. require inspectors to reach high elevations which present dangerous fall hazards. Drones can be deployed to gather high quality data without having to send workers into risky situations.

Drones have the ability to capture high resolution imagery and video of the structure being inspected. Additionally, we can utilize photogrammetry software to output 2D & 3D models of the structure, allowing for accurate measurements to be captured.
